About Us
The law office was created in 1990 in relation to the transfer of the Bar to a liberal profession by its founding attorney, JUDr. Erik Orlet. At first, the office resided in Olomouc, at 12 Riegrova Street. The office developed gradually along with the demands of its clients and so in 1996 the office was moved to larger premises in Olomouc, to 2 Tř. Svobody. In the same year Mgr. Michal Zahnáš joined the Office as the second partner and the Office thus acquired its current name.
Since its very beginnings, our Office has aimed at providing clients with legal aid in all standard areas of private as well as public law. At present we render legal aid predominantly in civil, criminal, commercial, administrative, building, labour, exchange, and family law. Every day we settle disputes arising from the above relations. However, we emphasize prevention of disputes and guide clients towards out-of-court solution.
As a result of always aiming at professional perfection and at high-quality of the provided services, we are proud to say that our clients trust us and remain loyal. For each case of every client a special team is built so that the relationship between the achieved outcome and the means employed and charged is optimized. The client can contact any of the attorneys participating in the particular case to ensure concrete and complex cooperation between the office and client.
Apart from expert knowledge of positive law and various methods of its application, we offer detailed knowledge of the local judicial and social environment.
Over the time, a variety of graduates from different law faculties took expert internship in our office; a choice of them has stayed while some of the others work in other renowned law offices. There are currently four attorneys working in the office, one law clerk, and, in addition, also students of the Faculty of Law of Palacký University, Olomouc, who are taking their practical training here. Our law office prides in the traditional values of the practise of law and therefore it is only natural that all its members fully adhere to the professional regulations of the Czech Bar Association, including the Code of Conduct for Lawyers in the European Union.
The office represents individuals as well as organizations, entrepreneurs, physical and legal persons, both Czech and foreign subjects. It is a purely Czech, fully independent law office, without any foreign owners or capital.
We work closely with the Notary Office of JUDr. Hana Orletová, with its registered office at the same address as ours, who provides all notary services for our office. Furthermore, for our clients we provide cooperation with tax advisors, expert witnesses, real estate agencies, a public auctioneer, and private distrainors. We also ensure comprehensive legal aid for companies and institutions, even on site. Thanks to our close contacts with foreign colleagues we are able to intermediate or render legal aid outside of the Czech Republic.
